Free IPAD Algorithmic Art Wallpaper Gallery

For my first computer art class in college, we used Apple II microcomputers and my first computer was an Apple II Plus. Since its beginnings I've always admired Apple's design aesthetic and their ability to bring revolutionary products to market. With the roll out of the IPAD 2, I decided to create a selection of wallpapers for the IPAD and to make these wallpapers available as free downloads.

I created these wallpapers with an algorithmic art program that I wrote using the Processing environment - a programming platform designed for artists which sits on top of Java. The same underlying algorithm was used to create all these wallpapers. Their variation is due to two factors. The first factor was modifying a variety of parameters I incorporated that control the creation of the image. The second factor is the nature of the post-processing performed using Adobe Photoshop. The only wallpaper to receive significant treatment with Photoshop is the Organic Incursion wallpaper
