Life Pulse

The idea for the Life Pulse digital painting came to me while sitting in a doctor’s office in Arizona in December 2009 and watching the ever changing pattern of lines on an EEG display. Wave like yet irregular, long periods of tranquility with brief bursts of storm like activity. That was the inspiration for this painting. So much like life: long periods of regularity interrupted by periods of volatility.
