Art Exhibit at Advocate Good Shepard Hospital in Barrington IL

An exhibition of the abstract and algorithmic art of Schaumburg IL digital artist Jim Plaxco is now on display at the Advocate Good Shepard Hospital in Barrington IL. The art exhibit, which opened January 11, 2010 will run through April 4, 2010 and is sponsored by the Northwest Cultural Council's Corporate Gallery Art Program.

Included in the exhibit are four new works of art not previously exhibited:

"Having my art on display in a hospital environment is a first for me. In fact the idea for one of the pieces in the show - Life Pulse (shown above) - came to me while sitting in a doctor's office in Arizona in December and observing the pattern of lines on an EEG display. You never know where you'll find inspiration for your next art idea."
