Loza Bay Wetlands Mangrove Forests Madagascar
Loza Bay Wetlands Mangrove Forests Madagascar is a work that merges a photograph taken from the International Space Station (ISS) with that same image as processed by a generative art program I wrote. This was done primarily to create something of a painterly effect in what was otherwise a fairly grainy photograph. This process also rebalanced the colors and lightened the image overall. The image shows a river system on the northwest coast of Madagascar that flows west (towards the bottom of the image) into the Mozambique Channel, an arm of the Indian Ocean.
