Archimedes Tower I
Archimedes Tower I is a mix of algorithmic and generative art created using a custom program of my own design. This artwork, and its sister artwork Archimedes Tower II were made in tribute to Archimedes, a Greek mathematician, physicist, engineer, astronomer, and inventor. In the realm of math, in addition to working on approximating the value of PI, Archimedes investigated the arithmetic spiral, now commonly known as the Archimedean spiral. An example of an artwork created using the Archimedean spiral as a foundation is Archimedes Spiral.
