Beyond the Mountains

Beyond the Mountains is not traditional astronomical art nor is it traditional landscape art. In fact I struggled with the decision as to which gallery - landscape or space - I should put it in. In creating Beyond the Mountains my intent was not to create an Earthly landscape but rather to imagine the landscape of an exoplanet.

In creating this exoplanet landscape I opted for a minimalist, dream-like approach to the portrayal of an alien planet landscape.
