Collapsing Skyscrapers
Collapsing Skyscrapers is a mix of both the algorithmic art creative process and a generative art process. In creating this work, I feel I achieved my goal of creating a somewhat abstract representation of a cascade of trusswork from a collection of unfinished skyscrapers from the perspective of an overhead viewer. For the core of the algorithmic process I used an epicycloid construction technique.
