Art Gallery Index
The art on display here is organized into galleries based on subject matter and not the creative style used - expect in the case of photography. These galleries reflect my personal areas of interest in the exploration of the realm of digital art and thematic representation. I encourage you to explore the various galleries and collections and if you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. Publishers and others interested in licensing my art should refer to the Licensing Art page. If there is no particular subject area you are interested in, you can see all the art and photography available on the site via the Artsnova Site Map Art and Photography Gallery Index.
The Earth As Art Gallery features art, satellite imagery, and aerial photography whose subject is the surface of the Earth as seen from above. In the case of satellite imagery and aerial photography, all have been subject to a variety of image processing techniques in order to enhance the details, contrast, lightness, and color of the source image data. The art and photographic images have been chosen to illustrate the beauty of the geology of Earth.
The Algorithmic Art Gallery consists of art that has been created using strictly algorithmic processes in programs of the artist's own design. This includes a category of algorithmic artworks which I have termed gestural algorithmics.
The Geometric Art Gallery contains an initial, small sampling of my digitally created art that has a strong geometric component. This is a new art gallery added as a part of the 2024 redesign of the website.
The Abstract Art Gallery contains a variety of artwork that is visually abstract and non-representational. The art in this gallery was created using a variety of digital techniques with a heavy reliance on what is known as creative coding.
The Photography Gallery contains an initial, small sampling of my digital photography and is a new gallery added as a part of the 2024 redesign of the website.
The Landscape Art Gallery contains art that represents my ideas and interpretations of landscapes. This includes a category of landscapes which I have termed Liquid Landscapes and which I believe are unique. A word of caution - you will find no strictly traditional landscapes in this gallery. Rather, the unifying element is the quest to create representations of landscapes in a variety of distinctive styles - styles which represent artistic exploration.
The Portrait Art Gallery contains a wide variety of portraits in terms of both subject and style. The subjects for my portraits include fictional characters, astronauts, robots, personalities, etc. For certain portrait subjects I have created special collections. These sub-collections are:
| Astronaut Art Gallery | Female Portrait Art Gallery | Robot Art Gallery | Eye Art Gallery |
The Space Art Gallery contains art that celebrates the human exploration of space. The works range from historical to symbolic to science fictional.
The Astronomy Art Gallery contains art that is of an astronomical or planetary nature. In addition to the main gallery, the following sub-collections are also provided:
The Visions Art Gallery is the most varied of the art galleries. Not only is the style of the art widely varied, but so is the subject matter. With respect to subject you will find abstract art, algorithmic art, conceptual art, glitch art, and more.
Two additional gallery collections are:
|
Art and Photography on Redbubble is a gallery of the art and photography available as illustrations for merchandise and as open edition prints on Redbubble. |
Note that there is also a Site Map Art Gallery Search Index provided as a single page reference to all artwork contained in the site's individual art galleries listed above.
If you are interested in artwork for your desktop, tablet, or iPad, I have a gallery of free algorithmic art wallpapers that are sized for the Apple IPAD tablet.
There is also a small Web Art Gallery which features some of the digital art I created to illustrate posts on the Artsnova Blog.
