Consider the Shark

Consider the Shark is an artwork that combines compositing digital photographs with subsequent digital special effects and painting to create the final piece. I particularly like the way this piece turned out in terms of capturing our curiosity about the world around us, especially those aspects that represent danger. This work began as a photograph I took of a shark swimming by in which I was able to capture a reflection of my son's inquisitive face in the glass of the aquarium.
