Dripping Pixels
Dripping Pixels is an example of distortion art. The artwork began as a digitally painted image. I then fed the image into a triad of coordinate transformations (mapping the color value at each x,y pixel location to a new x,y location) each of which distorted the original according to the algorithm. I then recombined the three individual images into a new image thus producing the artwork you see here.
