Jim Plaxco - Barrington Library Artist in Residence for March 2013

Jim Plaxco will be the Barrington Area Library's Artist in Residence for March 2013. As a part of the Artist in Residence program, the library will host a two hour public program featuring Mr. Plaxco and his art. During this event, library patrons will have the opportunity to observe the artist at work and to speak with Jim about his art and artistic methodology.

"I think it's wonderful that the Barrington Library is giving me this opportunity. I always look forward to being able to speak with the public - not just about my art but especially about the exploratory nature of digital art and what a wonderful platform for artistic creation the computer is."

The public event, titled Artistic Endeavors: Jim Plaxco will be held from 2:00 to 4:00pm on Sunday March 3, 2013 in the lobby of the Barrington Area Library.
